Limited Edition portrait of Elizabeth Taylor captured by legendary photographer Mark Shaw for the October 15, 1956 cover of LIFE magazine. This story ran concurrent with the release of the film "Giant", which went on to garner several academy awards. Ms. Taylor appeared in the film as Leslie Benedict, the matriarch of a Texas ranching family. The film also starred Rock Hudson and James Dean. Elizabeth Taylor is number seven on the American Film Institute’s list of top 25 female legends. These editioned works come directly from the Mark Shaw Photographic Archives and are sold exclusively through the Andrew Wilder Gallery.
