uploading Mark Shaw Editioned Photo- Model in Chateau of Jacques Fath #1
France
1950's
Limited edition photograph by Mark Shaw. This image is an outtake from a story shot by Shaw called, "Dress and Decor from Paris, Designers Show Gowns and Homes". The story was published in LIFE November 9, 1953. The model is Irish beauty Anne Gunning. She wears Fath's white polished satin ballgown with velvet ribbon. Miss. Gunning is captured in Fath's forty room sixteenth century chateau, Corbeville, near Paris. The setting is the stairway in the foyer of Corbeville. The commode in the background of the wide shot once belonged to Louis the XIV and bears his coat of arms. This image is available exclusively through the Andrew Wilder Gallery at Svenska Mobler. These prints are archivally prepared and stamped and numbered at the Mark Shaw Photographic Archives. This photograph is also available in a smaller 10.5x10.5 format. Please call us in Los Angeles for details.
